Bio

My name is Mrs. Mitchum. I will be your child’s first grade teacher.  I began teaching in 2012. I received my Bachelor’s Degree from Claflin University and my Master Degree from South Carolina State University. I have many things to share with you and can’t wait to start learning together. I am excited to get to know everyone!

7:55-8:25- ELA Morning Meeting/ RTI/Guided Reading

8:25-8:40- Shared Reading/Read Aloud 

8:45-9:30- Special Area

9:35-9:45- Restroom Break

9:45-10:45- Letterland/ Writing

10:45-11:30- Lunch 

11:30-12:50- Math 

12:55-1:25- Research 

1:30-1:55- Recess

1:55-2:00- Restroom Break

2:00-2:35- W.I.N

2:35-2:45- Pack Up/ Clean Up
