Mr. Wolfgang was born and raised in Wernersville, Pennsylvania. From an early age, he displayed a strong enthusiasm for sports, actively participating in soccer, basketball, baseball, and swimming. His love for sports and education was sparked in elementary school, where his PE teacher made a lasting impact on him.
During his high school years at Wilson High School, Jeremy excelled in soccer, basketball, baseball, and track and field. His passion for soccer led him to Coastal Carolina University, where he joined the nationally ranked Division 1 soccer team. While at Coastal Carolina, Jeremy pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, which he completed in 2007.
After graduation, Jeremy began his career in education as a PE teacher at Harleyville Elementary School. Alongside his teaching role, he coached basketball, baseball, and soccer at Woodland High School. Committed to furthering his knowledge and career, Jeremy earned a Master’s degree in Educational Administration from the University of South Carolina in 2016.
Following his advanced studies, he was appointed Assistant Principal at Harleyville Elementary School and later served in the same capacity at Williams Memorial Elementary School. In 2012, Jeremy married Alison Wolfgang, a fellow educator, and together they have two daughters, Hope and Kendall. The Wolfgang family resides at Folly Beach, where they enjoy life with their dog, Cocoa.
